Sony TA-E80ES Audiophile PreAmp - NOT FOR SALE ANYMORE

This preamp was my pride and joy for many years - it was the sole reason I waited 8 years longer than I could have to go with a surround sound system - until I found my current Sunfire, there was simply not any surround processors good enough (and I have to say, this guy still beats the sunfire on straight through stereo with analogue sources) - it is simply superior.

Note: This is a 220 Volt unit so you have to either have someone convert the unit, or simply run it through a 110V-220V power converter.

The volume controls is motorized and will smoothly turn when used with the remote control.
It has balanced output to your power amplifier.
It also has a pair of balanced inputs for CD/DVD Audio/SACD gear.
It has a great phono stage
 

and I have to proudly brag that this thing comes in its original box and is in absolute mint condition.
Everything from the sound quality, the build quality, to the champagne exterior and the polished rosewood side panels is absolutely flawless.

This piece is the last generation of great Sony gear when the spirit of ES was alive and strong.

April 2006: Now that we have moved in to a new house I suddenly have more rooms to fill with sweet music so I have unpacked the 80ES from it's box and I also found my trusty old Denon POA-2200 stereo amp so I'm connecting these guys to the secondary system in the living room.

As I'm sure you know, this is the best Series 1 TiVo you will find.
This one comes with all the accessories and cables that came with it. The condition is pretty much like the day I bought it. Apart from what you see in the pic, there is also a mile long (well almost) telephone cable included.
