This is a 32bit Windows program, it has only been tested on Windows 7 x64 using a Korg Kronos 88 OS 2.0.2 hooked up via USB using the latest Korg USB driver.
The only external dependency I can think of is the C++ runtime library available from Microsoft at: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)

Please note that this program is perpetually work in progress.
Here are some hints on how to use it:

Installation: The AL-1 Editor is a self-contained executable. There is no installation required, place the KronosEditor.exe anywhere on your computer and run it.
Before you can use the program you need to select the MIDI in/out ports. This is done using the 'Settings' drop down menu.
NOTE: Once you have chosen your MIDI in/out ports for the first time you might have to restart the program to reinitialize the communication.

You need to be in PROGRAM or SETLIST mode on your Kronos to follow bank and program changes.

At the top left of the screen you have EXi 1 and EXi 2 buttons. Make sure the appropriate EXi is selected when changing parameters.

Use the middle mouse button, or the section buttons on top of the screen to pan the screen around.

To change a value of a knob, click and drag using the left mouse button. You can configure linear or rotary control using the pull down menu.

To change the AMS source for an AMS control, click with the left or right mouse buttons to bring up a pop-up menu.

To change the AMS intensity for an AMS control, drag the left mouse button to change the value.

While tweaking a value you can click the right mouse button to restore the initial value.

Technical information for the curious and/or paraniod.
The AL-1 Editor does not modify the configuration of your computer in any way.
Current settings are stored in the registry at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Chrutil\AL1-Editor".
When 'Automatically Check for Updates' is enabled from the menu, the program will download a configuration file: "http://www.chrutil.com/kronos/al1editor.xml" to see if there is a newer version available. No information about the system is submitted.
The AL-1 Editor is written in C++ using the standard Win32 API's.
The following libraries are used by the AL-1 Editor:
    RtMidi - http://www.music.mcgill.ca/~gary/rtmidi/index.html
    pugixml - http://www.pugixml.org

 Enjoy your Kronos!
